Add a resilient native cactus to your landscape with Santa Fe Cholla (Cylindropuntia viridiflora), a cold-hardy cactus valued for its segmented stems, architectural form, and adaptability to dry gardens. This species is well suited for rock gardens, xeriscapes, cactus collections, and drought-tolerant landscapes.

You will receive one (1) live Santa Fe Cholla, available as either a live cutting measuring approximately 4–6 inches long or a small rooted plant in a 3-inch nursery pot, depending on the selected option. Each plant is healthy and ready for planting or continued growth. Stem size, branching, and coloration naturally vary with the season and growing conditions.

Shipping Size:

  • Option 1: One (1) live cutting
    • Approx. 4–6 inches long
  • Option 2: One (1) live rooted plant
    • Shipped in a 3-inch nursery pot

Plant Condition Disclosure:

Live plants may be shipped dormant, recently pruned, bare root, or partially dehydrated depending on season, weather, and shipping requirements.

Natural variation in size, branching, spine density, color, root structure, and overall appearance should be expected.

Important Note:

You will receive a live starter plant or cutting. Listing photos show mature plants for reference only. The actual plant received will be significantly smaller than the mature specimens shown.

Customer Notice:

Live plants may experience normal shipping stress such as minor stem wrinkling, color changes, or cosmetic damage during transit.

Please consider local weather before purchasing. Extreme heat, freezing temperatures, severe weather, shipping delays, or unattended packages may increase plant stress.

Due to the perishable nature of live plants, returns are generally not accepted. If there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide:

  • Photos of the shipping box
  • Photo of the shipping label
  • Clear photos of the plant from multiple angles

Claims submitted without the required photos or after 48 hours of delivery may not be eligible for review.
