Growing Information
The Purple Tree Collard (Brassica oleracea, acephala group) prefers well-draining, nutrient-rich soil and moderate watering to keep the soil moist during rooting. It grows best in USDA zones 7–10 and can be planted in full sun to partial shade. To propagate, bury the lower half of the cutting in moist soil and place it in a shaded or indirect light area. Using rooting hormone can enhance rooting success and speed establishment.
