Growing Information

This fast-growing tropical plant thrives in bright light to full sun and prefers well-draining, rich potting mix. Moderate watering is recommended to keep the soil evenly moist without becoming soggy. The plant typically reaches a mature height of 3 to 6 feet, though it remains smaller when grown in containers. Suitable for USDA zones 9–11, it can be grown indoors in cooler climates. For best flowering results, place the plant in a bright, warm location and feed with a balanced fertilizer during active growth. Switching to a bloom booster with higher phosphorus content encourages more flowers. It is advised to bring the plant indoors immediately upon delivery and protect it from temperature extremes.
