Growing Information

Jasmine (Jasminum spp.) is a flowering vine or shrub that thrives in full sun to partial shade. It prefers well-draining, fertile soil and requires moderate watering to keep the soil lightly moist. The plant grows at a moderate rate and can reach heights of 3 to over 10 feet, depending on pruning. Blooming typically occurs from spring through summer, varying by variety. Jasmine is suitable for USDA zones 8–11 but can be grown indoors in cooler zones. It is container-friendly, making it adaptable to various growing spaces.

For best results, soak the seeds in warm water for 12 to 24 hours before planting to enhance germination. Provide warmth and consistent moisture, and place seedlings in bright light once they emerge.
