Growing Information

Both varieties thrive in full sun to partial shade and require a well-draining propagation mix. Keep the cuttings consistently moist during rooting. These fast-growing vines can reach mature sizes of 10 to 25 feet with proper support. Bloom seasons vary but generally occur from late winter to summer. They are suitable for USDA zones 8–11, with container growing recommended in cooler zones.

For successful propagation, use rooting hormone and place cuttings in a warm, humid environment with indirect light. Covering with a humidity dome or plastic bottle helps retain moisture and improve rooting success. Avoid direct sunlight until roots develop. Some leaf drop during transit or rooting is normal.
