Growing Information
Akihime strawberries are perennial fruiting plants that thrive in full sun and well-draining, fertile soil. They require moderate watering to keep the soil consistently moist. These plants grow quickly to a mature height of 6–12 inches and are suitable for USDA zones 4–9. The harvest season is early, making them ideal for fresh eating and desserts. When planting, position the crown just above soil level and mulch around the plants to retain moisture and keep the fruit clean.
Plant Condition Disclosure
Live plants may be shipped dormant, leafless, recently pruned, bare root, or partially defoliated depending on season, weather, and shipping requirements.
