Growing Information
Plant the bulbs in a well-drained bed with rich organic soil. Place each rhizome just below the soil surface with the bud facing upward, spacing them 6 inches apart and rows 6 to 12 inches apart. Cover with a thick mulch layer such as hardwood leaves or shredded bark, and rake back the mulch to 1 to 2 inches before spring emergence.
