Growing Information
- Allow cuttings to callous over for 3-7 days before planting to prevent rot
- Use well-draining cactus or succulent soil mix, moistening it before planting
- Plant cuttings ½ to 2 inches deep in soil
- Place in a warm, airy location with indirect or filtered sunlight
- Water 5-10 days after planting, depending on conditions
- Roots typically develop within 2-6 weeks; bare root plants may root faster
- Avoid direct sunlight until roots are established
- Once rooted, succulents thrive in bright filtered light; some varieties may benefit from direct sunlight for enhanced color
