Growing Information
The Venus Flytrap thrives in full sun to partial shade, requiring at least 12 hours of light daily. It prefers soil composed of peat moss or a specialized carnivorous plant mix to maintain proper acidity and moisture. Watering should be done with distilled water to keep the soil consistently moist, avoiding tap water which can harm the plant. This low-growing perennial typically reaches 4-6 inches in height and is hardy in zones 8 through 10.
Plant Condition Disclosure
Live plants may be shipped dormant, leafless, recently pruned, bare root, or partially defoliated depending on season, weather, and shipping requirements.
Natural variation in size, branching, foliage density, color, root structure, and overall appearance should be expected.
Important Note
You will receive a live starter plant (seedling/young plant). Listing photos show the plant at a mature stage for reference only. The actual plant size, shape, and appearance may vary and will be significantly smaller than the images shown.
