Growing Information

This epiphytic cactus typically grows to a height of 12-24 inches with a spreading habit. It thrives in well-draining potting mix, preferably a blend designed for cacti or succulents. Water the plant when the top inch of soil feels dry, and reduce watering during its winter dormancy period. The Thanksgiving Christmas Cactus prefers bright, indirect sunlight and should be protected from direct sun exposure to prevent leaf damage. Suitable for USDA hardiness zones 9-11, it can also be grown indoors in cooler climates.
