Growing Information
Sugar cane thrives in full sun, requiring 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily. It prefers consistently moist soil that is well-drained and loamy, with a pH range between 5.5 and 7.0. These plants are hardy in USDA zones 8 through 11. Proper watering involves keeping the soil moist without causing waterlogging. The clumping growth habit allows the plants to form dense stands, making them an attractive and productive addition to your garden.
Plant Condition Disclosure
Live plants may be shipped dormant, leafless, recently pruned, bare root, or partially defoliated depending on season, weather, and shipping requirements.
Natural variation in size, branching, foliage density, color, root structure, and overall appearance should be expected.
Important Note
You will receive a live starter plant (seedling/young plant). Listing photos show the plant at a mature stage for reference only. The actual plant size, shape, and appearance may vary and will be significantly smaller than the images shown.
