Growing Information

Orchid cactus is a tropical epiphytic cactus that thrives in bright, indirect light. It prefers well-draining cactus or epiphytic soil mixes and requires moderate watering, allowing the topsoil to dry slightly between waterings. This plant enjoys average to moderate humidity levels and is best grown indoors or outdoors in warm climates. Propagation is done through stem cuttings, making these unrooted cuttings ideal for gardeners looking to cultivate this trailing and arching cactus with vibrant red flowers.
