English Ivy prefers partial to full shade but can tolerate full sun. It grows best in well-draining soil, favoring loamy or sandy conditions. Water regularly, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings. This climbing or trailing vine can reach lengths up to 50 feet and is hardy in USDA zones 4 through 9.
