Growing Information

Portulaca grandiflora prefers full sun exposure, requiring 6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily. Plant the cuttings in well-draining soil, ideally sandy or loamy, to prevent root rot. Water sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out between watering sessions. Suitable for USDA hardiness zones 10-11, these cuttings can be grown as annuals in cooler climates. Their spreading growth habit makes them excellent ground cover options.
