Growing Information

These trees ship dormant from October to March, without leaves but with buds ready to grow in spring. In southern regions, new growth may begin immediately upon planting. Eastern Redbuds adapt well to various light conditions, preferring full sun to partial shade, and require minimal maintenance once established. Their cold hardiness allows them to thrive across a range of climates within USDA Zones 4 through 9.
